My first born, the little boy that made me a mama, the first one to completely have my whole heart. Ryan was a natural leader, from a very early age his sister, cousins and friends followed him and wanted to be close to him and play and do whatever he was doing. When he started school the other kids would save the first place in line for him when he got off the bus. He did well in school, his teachers always liked him. He was kind. When he was in high school he saw that two brothers didn’t have lunch money so he always shared with them. When we would have family parties he would give out hugs. Those who received hugs really appreciated them because not everyone got them at every party ( he spread them out thinly lol). He had a very dry sense of humor, he was very uniquely Ryan. He had a huge beautiful smile and he also had a sadness about him that concerned me. Getting him to go consistently to a therapist was almost impossible.
 
Ryan announced he was getting married he was happy when the children came. Ryan was a great dad. He loved his children! He read and played and sang to them. 
 
Ryan was passionate about fishing, hunting, hiking, camping. He wanted to buy a cabin in northern Wisconsin a couple hours away from where he lived. He graduated from Marquette University with a Master’s degree and with honors and was extremely proud of his accomplishments but not as proud as his marriage and three beautiful children 2 boys and a girl. 
 
Ryan died by suicide on May 18th, 2021 and left a gaping hole in many hearts.
